Riversquare(ed) maiil

Mmm… my wife and I went through the shops now. With all the other problems the mall has i.e.

  • vacant shops
  • the 2nd floor
  • massive rent
  • handicap unfriendly access
  • aggressive guards
  • useless security

I now have come to the conclusion that people in the Three Rivers area are all sterile. Non of the retail shops have metirnaty clothing. Walk Woolworths, Edgars, Mr. Price, Miladys, Donna Clare, Jet and AcKermans and baby clothes galore, but I presume babies come by stork.

Motorola gets a good kicking in the global market – The Inquirer

Please people stop supporting Motorola and buying the milestone.

Motorola Technical supprt lies about the features not listed in the specifications and has locked the GPL Linux Kernel by signing it with a RSA security key. Thus making Free software/Open Source proprietary software.

SEE: Tivoization

On Various forums and blogs it is out that the milestone is crippleware and what Motorola has done with the milestone. This marketing has done seems to work in the findings of the Inquirer.

Moving Forward

We are met with various challenges daily, yet we sometimes forget to see the opportunities that lay around us wanting to be acknowledged and acted upon. Sometimes we do, sometimes we look to them as challenges and pass them by.
We move on, past events that shape our lives, our being. We move forward, leaving a known comfortable world behind, growing and learning, becoming more then oneself, more than our parts.

When we move on with our lives we recognise time as a variable that should be incorporated into our equation for life. Like the prelude and requiem of time we have our own. In between live happens and to some it does happen in capitals. When confronted with a event that shapes us, time moves on, we move on. The past behind us, the future in front of us.

We move forward step by step, living to the future. Review the past take the good, shape it to something useful and bury the bad. Improve on your being becoming more than your being. Confront your hurt, your fear, your pain breaking down the walls your self-preservation built. Be mindful and watchful for your insecurities for they are the things that go bump in the night that feed your fears.

We live, but once. Cherrish the things that give you joy, for they are the nice things you would want to do when you grow old. Surround yourself with people that love you every second of every day, for they love who you are not what you are.

Borrowed from a facebook posting that gave me this whole train of though.

Question: in order to move forward, you need to forget the past and let go of everything – but why do I feel like I've left myself behind?

Answer: sometimes you have to leave a bit yourself behind. Just remember to take your compass and southern cross or northern star with for they will show you, your true north. It is but the changing of the tides, but they tear at the flesh of rock.
